Spring
The smaller Santa Tecla, calçotades in the villages of the Camp and perfect weather for walking the walls.
Summer
Beach in the morning, Tarraco Viva and open-air concerts at night.
Autumn
The Santa Tecla festival in September: castellers, giants and correfoc in the Part Alta.
Winter
Museums and heritage without queues, the Christmas market and a calm sea to walk beside.

Roman heritage

Roman Circus
Plaça de la Font sits on part of the old arena. The vaulted passages can be visited right next to the hostel.

Amphitheatre
Above the sea, where gladiators fought. The view from the tiers is the city's postcard.

Romanesque and Gothic at the highest point of the old town, built over the temple of Augustus.

An unspoilt cove among pine trees, with no buildings. Reached by a path from La Savinosa.
